{{ THA-REEEE }}

Kynedy Joell is THA-REE
(as she says)

Kynedy loves purple!
Her favorite food is chicken.
She'd rather eat yogurt than a donut.
She knows her phone number in whole and knows part of her address (<--we are still learning it)
Kynedy loves to sing and dance. Her favorite instrument is the piano.
Her favorite singer is Taylor Swift.
Her favorite show is Little Einsteins.
Her favorite princess is Cinderella.
Kynedy is a quiet well mannered little princess.
She is 100% girl; but she doesn't mind playin in the dirt.
Her favorite animal is the horse.
She's the smartest little girl I know.
She has a heart of gold; but is also very stubborn.

{ WATER }

This weeks challenge for the Fstop Frenzy community is WATER. This week the judge is Sarah from FotoTale Designs. Her card templates are amazing; Christmas/Holiday cards anyone?!? ;)  I love her blog as well.

You can find buttons for both blogs in that column there ----->

I love water and I definitely love taking pictures of water. I took this pic at a fishing spot my husband likes to frequent. It's so beautiful there. Until I was 9 years old I lived in Arkansas, then my mom moved us to Houston, Texas. I had never seen the beach until then. From the day I first touched my little toes in the water I've been in love with the beach. It's one of my favorite locations to do sessions. Now if only I could find a way to put the Hill Country next to the beach, I'd be in Heaven! ;)

(( The only adjustments made to this photo were some minor levels adjustments and a small touch of vignette. ))

{ HOPE }

Fstop Frenzy is a new upcoming photographer haven. All us fellow photographers help motivate and give advice on everything photography. The starters of the frenzy Morgan and Rachel are amazing and very helpful. They even host workshops for learning all things photography. Well they're doing challenges every week, this weeks challenge is to capture "HOPE".

To me HOPE is my children.

(( I processed these with PSE8 with minor adjustments to the highlights/lowlights. ))

I never knew how much you could really love a child until these two came into the world. I'm eternally grateful to my husband for loving me and being there every step of the way. He is a phenomenal Daddy. My children are my HOPE. They give me HOPE for the world. For everything good in life. Jayson for his pure heart, an Kynedy for her super intelligence.

I hope my children grow up knowing their mommy and daddy love them very much. I hope they grow up to be respectful of others. I hope they grow up to be honest. I hope they remember to say please and thank you. I hope they grow up and choose a career they love. I hope they enjoy and love life, never taking it for granted.

But most of all, I hope they stay little, just for a little longer.

{ Goals }

It's good to have goals in whatever you do! It gives ya something to look forward to. So here are some of MY goals I hope to accomplish before the end of the year:

1. Crochet a baby cocoon! (Heck just learn to crochet period!)

2. Photograph some twinsies! I love twins! I always wish I had a twin; my step-brother Derrick and I were the same age and we used to pretend we were twins! Twins seem to always have so much fun, plus you get a life long best friend! So I want to photograph some twins, old, young, new, tween, any!

3. Master night photography; like the ones here. I can admit my weaknesses, and night photography is one of them! No matter how hard I try, I'm doing something wrong! I learn best by learning them myself, it's probably why I excel better in online classes.. anyway, it sticks with me better when I learn it on my own. (PS: if you've mastered night photography and want to teach me... I'll love you forever! ;p )

4. Get new equipment: A Nikon d7000! It has dual memory card slots, high def video! It's amaaazing! :)

5. Master nature photography! I'm doing okay so far, but I'm still learning. I'm sure I'll always keep learning, but I really want to be good at nature and landscapes.
So good that someday I'll be published somewhere! <----my #1 photographic goal for my lifetime

For now I will stick with 5! Don't want to over do it. :) Check back as I progress and cross these goals off my list.

{ MADDISON }

This little princess recently turned 3!!! She was a doll to work with! She was very talkative, as 3 year old girls are! ;) I had a blast with this shoot. Maddison LOVED the balloons; it was almost hard to get her to sit still with them! She's a fun little girl and {AFP} wishes her a most awesome 3rd year!

Enjoy!

{ Blog Failure }

I have to admit... I fail at blogging! Life has been crazy and a whirlwind this summer. I just haven't had the time. When the kiddos leave me time I'm usually promoting the business and researching new things about photography. But there is hope for me yet! Jayson II, my oldest, starts kindergarten MONDAY, so this should leave more time for blogging and things to get my creative juices flowing. At this point I don't know if I feel like crying or being excited. So I'll probably do both. LOL.

I need to do a catch up post of all my summer sessions! But if you can't wait cruise on over to my facebook page: Amanda Faith Photography

Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday! :)
