{ Red Headed Princess }

I have always wanted to be a red head! And this little princess I envy! She was an absolute doll to photograph! She did not want to sit still. At first she didn't want to talk to me much but once we got her set she was a show off for this shutterbug! :) She was patient and would go about and twirl, sing, dance, and explore. Kids this age are problem the most difficult to photograph but they are so much fun. I love hearing about how they see the world. Little Isabelle loved seeing the train and counted the ducks. She even sang the Mr Alligator song for me, which was an extra special treat for me (my kids will never sing the whole song, LOL).

Thanks to Isabelle and her Mommy and Daddy for being wonderful!

{ Pumpkin Patch }

Last month we had a busy month, but it ended pretty good. Like every year, we took a trip to the pumpkin patch. The kids each picked out a pumpkin to paint. We were going to carve pumpkins but with everything that went on we just got too busy.

Jase and Kynedy checkin out the tractor. One steers the other shifts! Great teamwork kiddos!

{ ANNOUNCEMENT }

After careful consideration and planning, my family and I have decided we will be building a house in Bandera.  We are very excited about this decision but at the same time I hate to leave all my wonderful clients; not to mention our amazing family and friends we have here. I hate to leave the city I so dearly love! (Don't worry I know I'm crazy for loving this polluted over populated city ;) but I just can't help it!) I have so many great friends and clients here! I want you all to know how much you mean to me! You have made my dream job a possibility and I couldn't have asked for more amazing people to let me capture your amazing stories.

Now for the good news for all of you! :) Being that I have family here I will not be closing shop in Houston! :D Instead I will just work both the Houston and San Antonio areas! I will have to travel to Houston frequently as I hate being so far away from my Moma and we are still battling it out with my fer insurance company for the house they did not fix after Ike.

I hope all of you are doing great and look forward to continuing to capture the moments you cherish most!

Love & Hugs

{ SHOOTS FOR A CURE }

AMANDA FAITH PHOTOGRAPHY is excited to announce a partnership with Shoots for a Cure (formerly known as Think Pink Photography). Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause. Recently, we changed our name and our support. We now want to support ALL cancer patients, not just breast cancer.

Through our professional photographer network, we are helping cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the cancer patient. Clients participating in a Shoots for a Cure session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 small prints from the session. They will also receive a discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.
To support the cause, we donate and fundraise for The American Cancer Society, Susan G Komen Foundation and have partnered with The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The American Cancer Society, Susan G Komen Foundation or The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation in our name. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

Please subscribe to our blog (on the Shoots for a Cure website) and tell your friends and family about Shoots for a Cure. Awareness is everything and we can’t be successful without you.

I encourage you to view our website, make a donation, or hire a photographer that supports Shoots for a Cure! If you hire me, mention Shoots for a Cure and I will make a personal donation to the organization. If you, or someone you know, would like to schedule a Shoots for a Cure session, please contact me for details.

I am very proud to be a network photographer with Shoots for a Cure, and am anxious to get the word out about this amazing program. For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Shoots for a Cure website at http://shootsforacure.com
